Discover International is seeking a Sr. Medical Science Liaison to advance scientific exchange in obesity, cardiometabolic diseases, and immunology.

The role involves building relationships with KOLs and healthcare professionals, delivering balanced scientific information, and contributing to field medical strategy across regions. The candidate should have at least 2 years of MSL experience in relevant therapeutic areas and an advanced degree (PharmD, PhD, MD).

Competenze

• Minimum 2 years of MSL experience in obesity, cardiovascular/metabolic diseases, or immunology.
• Advanced scientific or clinical degree (PharmD, PhD, MD) required.
• Strong communication and presentation skills.

Sr. Medical Science Liaison | Obesity, Cardiometabolic & Immunology

We’re looking to connect with experienced Medical Science Liaisons for opportunities across Obesity, Cardiovascular/Metabolic Diseases, and Immunology. These positions offer the opportunity to serve as a trusted scientific partner to healthcare professionals, build meaningful relationships with key opinion leaders (KOLs), and contribute to field medical strategy.

We’re interested in candidates with strong scientific expertise and a passion for advancing patient care through scientific exchange and collaboration.

What You’ll Do

• Develop and maintain peer-to-peer relationships with KOLs, investigators, and healthcare professionals within your territory


• Deliver balanced, non-promotional scientific exchange on disease states, clinical data, and the evolving treatment landscape


• Gather and communicate field insights to help inform medical strategy and identify unmet educational needs


• Support medical education initiatives and scientific engagement at regional and national congresses


• Collaborate with Medical Affairs and other cross-functional partners on relevant scientific initiatives


• Identify opportunities for research collaboration and support investigator engagement, as appropriate

What You Bring

• At least 2 years of MSL experience in one or more of the following therapeutic areas: Obesity, Cardiovascular/Metabolic Diseases, or Immunology


• Strong understanding of the clinical and treatment landscape within your area of expertise


• Experience building and maintaining relationships with KOLs and healthcare professionals


• Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to translate complex scientific information for different audiences


• Ability to manage a territory independently while collaborating effectively with internal teams


• An advanced scientific or clinical degree, such as a PharmD, PhD, MD, or equivalent, is required
