Job summary

Clark Davis Associates seeks an experienced Medical Science Liaison (MSL) to develop and sustain relationships with key clinicians, investigators, KOLs, and healthcare institutions. You will serve as a scientific resource, delivering balanced clinical information and supporting advisory boards and medical congresses.

The role involves developing territory plans, traveling up to 60%, and collaborating with Medical Affairs, Clinical Development, and other cross-functional teams to share field

Qualifications

• Advanced scientific/clinical degree required (MD/DO/PhD/PharmD/PA/NP or RN).
• 5+ years biotech/pharma experience with 3+ years MSL experience preferred.
• Oncology and rare disease experience strongly preferred.

Job description

• Develop and maintain relationships with key clinicians, investigators, KOLs, and healthcare institutions.
• Serve as a scientific resource by providing accurate, balanced clinical and medical information.
• Develop territory plans and engage healthcare professionals through field visits, scientific meetings, and congresses.
• Support clinical development activities, including investigator engagement, site outreach, recruitment efforts, and sharing field insights.
• Partner with Medical Affairs, Clinical Development, Clinical Operations, and other cross-functional teams.
• Support advisory boards, scientific presentations, medical congresses, and other educational initiatives.
• Stay current on clinical data, treatment guidelines, emerging therapies, and competitive developments.
• Respond to unsolicited scientific inquiries and contribute to MSL training and development.
• Ensure all activities comply with applicable regulatory, ethical, and company standards.

Qualifications

• Advanced clinical/scientific degree required: MD/DO, PhD, PharmD, PA, NP, or RN.
• 5+ years of biotech/pharma experience, including 3+ years of MSL experience preferred.
• Oncology and rare disease experience strongly preferred.
• Experience in a hospital or pharmacy setting.
• Excellent scientific, communication, presentation, analytical, and relationship-building skills.
• Collaborative, adaptable, self-directed, and comfortable in a fast-paced environment.
• Willingness to travel up to 60%, including occasional weekend travel.
