Sr Medical Director/Global Medical Indication Lead - Rheumatology(Client Dedicated)

Join Thermo Fisher Scientific as a Senior Medical Director/Global Medical Indication Lead - Rheumatology (Client Dedicated). This role is based in the United States, ideally in the Eastern or Central Time Zone, and is fully remote with 10-20% travel (possibly international).

Responsibilities

• Lead the clinical team for an indication, translating the TPP into a Clinical Development Plan to maximize asset potential.
• Provide strategic medical insights and oversee all stages of development.
• Manage and coach the global clinical trial physicians.
• Ensure medical oversight of studies, communication with management, and harmonization across studies.
• Lead indication medical advisory boards and maintain a high-performing team.
• Ensure compliance of all studies in the indication.

Qualifications

• Medical Doctor or equivalent, with Board certification preferred.
• Specialty training in rheumatology, with 3-5 years of pharma/biotech experience in drug development.
• Proficiency in English; ability to travel.
