Preferred Qualifications

Role Purpose

Provides patient care under the supervision of a physician or licensed professional, performing duties to promote health and deliver care according to protocols. Acts as an experienced role model in areas such as lab testing, OSHA/CLIA compliance, electronic health records, medical assisting, supplies management, or cross-training within the practice.

Responsibilities

• Cleans, prepares, and stocks supplies in exam rooms
• Obtains vital signs, patient history, and maintains accurate charting
• Performs clinical skills like phlebotomy, EKGs, point-of-care testing, and injections
• Triage calls, provides test and lab results, and communicates relevant information to providers
• Prepares patients for exams, procedures, and treatments

Minimum Requirements

Education

• High School Diploma or GED

Experience

• 2-5 years

Supervisor Experience

• No Experience required

Licenses & Certifications

• Certification/Registration in Area of Expertise

Preferred Requirements

• 5-10 years
