Role Overview

We are seeking an Activation Strategist for paid social media to lead global consultation with business leads and agencies. Your focus will be streamlining campaign management processes for brand marketing across regions, guiding teams to optimize activation and campaign operations. You will develop standardized processes, comprehensive playbooks, and create global operational frameworks with clear documentation. Your strategic vision will influence Amazon's worldwide paid social campaigns, balancing global consistency with regional adaptability. This role requires expertise in global team building and will impact the efficiency and effectiveness of Amazon's global paid social media efforts.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop regional marketing strategies to demonstrate cost savings, simplify reporting, and access to optimal decision-making tools
  • Share best practices for media placement quality frameworks and creative insights from North America/EU, and set up measurement plans globally
  • Lead global implementation of experimentation plans, first-party buying, and data management platforms for audiences
  • Enable project management tools and manage account access globally for internal measurement teams
  • Enhance centralized reporting and measurement features via the MODE Product
  • Support adoption and usage requirements globally
Daily Activities
  • Consult with Amazon marketing teams across regions based on prioritization frameworks
  • Partner with the global studio team to guide best practices for creative formats
  • Collaborate with regional partner agencies to expand media and audience strategies, including testing new platforms
  • Maintain frequent communication with the Global Programmatic Lead and Amazon marketing team leads for reporting and optimization
About The Team

The Amazon MODE (Media, Operations, Data, and Execution) team includes in-house programmatic and social media specialists in the US and EU, focusing on cross-channel brand marketing.

Basic Qualifications
  • 6+ years of professional marketing experience (non-internship)
  • Experience using data and metrics to drive improvements
  • Proficiency with Excel or Tableau for data manipulation and visualization
  • Experience building, executing, and scaling cross-functional marketing programs
  • Experience communicating results to senior leadership
Preferred Qualifications
  • 10+ years of experience in global media strategy and execution, preferably across agency and brand roles
