Job summary

Pentangle Tech Services | P5 Group in Wisconsin seeks a senior Mechanical Design Engineer to lead complex furniture-related product development. You will design and validate assemblies using SolidWorks and SolidEdge, develop prototypes, and ensure manufacturability while coordinating with suppliers and offshore teams.

You will analyze concepts, document design decisions, and mentor junior engineers. The role requires a Bachelor’s in mechanical engineering, 8+ years of experience, PE

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering.
• A minimum of 8 years of experience as a mechanical design engineer.
• Experience in the furniture domain and preferably Fume Hoods
• PE certification is advantageous.
• Proficiency with engineering design programs such as Solidworks and solidedge.
• Sound knowledge of design and engineering principles and best practices.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Exceptional time management and organizational skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
