Job summary

EO Solutions in Las Vegas, NV, is seeking a Senior Mechanical Engineer to design, develop, and test mechanical systems for cutting-edge electro-optical products on-site. You will work with Electrical, Optical, Firmware, and Manufacturing teams to take concepts from design through production.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years of mechanical engineering experience, proficiency in SolidWorks and AutoCAD, and hands-on experience with FEA/CFD. U.S. citizenship and relocation support are a strong plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's in Mechanical Engineering with 5+ years’ experience or Master’s with 3+ years; PhD a plus.
• Proficient in SolidWorks for 3D modeling and AutoCAD for 2D drafting.
• Strong experience with FEA and CFD simulation tools.
• Solid understanding of materials, tolerancing, and design for manufacturing.
• Experience in machining, additive manufacturing, or production methods.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop mechanical components and systems for EO products.
• Perform structural, thermal, and dynamic analysis using FEA/CFD tools.
• Create 3D models and 2D drawings using SolidWorks and AutoCAD.
• Support system integration and testing of mechanical and electro-optical assemblies.
• Collaborate with engineering and manufacturing teams to ensure DFM.
• Contribute to prototype builds, reviews, and iterative development cycles.

Role Description

We’re seeking a full-time Senior Mechanical Engineer to join our team on-site in Las Vegas, NV. In this role, you’ll design, develop, and test mechanical systems for cutting-edge electro-optical products. You’ll work closely with cross-functional teams—including Electrical, Optical, Firmware, and Manufacturing—to bring innovative concepts from design through to production.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and develop mechanical components and systems for EO products.
