Lead the conceptualization, design, and development of mechanical piping systems from initial requirements through to production. Perform detailed engineering analyses including fluid dynamics simulations to validate design integrity and performance. Collaborate with cross-disciplinary teams to ensure designs meet constructability, cost, and quality standards. Develop and review technical documentation such as specifications, drawings, and models to support design development and compliance. Provide mentorship and technical leadership to junior engineers, fostering skill development and knowledge sharing. Manage project timelines and resources effectively to meet milestones and deliverables. Identify opportunities for design improvements and implement innovative solutions to enhance work-product quality and efficiency.
Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering 8 plus years of Industrial mechanical engineering experience Strong understanding of mechanical engineering principles including fluid mechanics. Familiarity with pipelines, piping systems, and terminal operations Experience with engineering analysis tools (CAESAR II, AFT Fathom, Autopipe, & PIPE-FLO) EIT (PE Highly Preferred) Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Pay: $38-$45.50/hr.
