Job summary

NextGenEnergyJobs in San Jose, CA, is seeking a capable Operations and Supply Chain professional to drive product development readiness, NPI processes, and materials planning.

You will partner with Engineering, Quality, Manufacturing and suppliers to ensure timely builds, cost control, and critical component availability for new products.

International experience and language skills are a plus, and the role focuses on lifecycle management from concept to production.

Qualifications

• Experience in supply chain and manufacturing for product development.
• Strong collaboration with cross-functional teams (Engineering, Quality, Manufacturing).
• Knowledge of NPI and Product Lifecycle Processes.

Responsibilities

• Manage supply chain and manufacturing requirements to support product development
• Project manage Operations NPI and Product Lifecycle Process requirements
• New products ownership
• Responsible for materials readiness, availability, and visibility for new products
• Responsible for manufacturing readiness; DFM feedback, NPI build planning, system readiness
• Interacting with our supply partners and internal core teams like Engineering, Quality, Manufacturing etc. on new product schedules and deliverables
• Engineering and development builds & component cost tracking
• Critical component planning, quoting, procurement, and materials liability management
• Prepare and communicate critical Materials updates at weekly new product Program reviews
• Through a deep understanding of our commodity terms, ensure the logistical flow of materials necessary to meet production schedules, inventory control requirements, and ongoing material line support
