Job summary

Bloom Energy in San Jose, CA, is seeking a Sr Materials Program Manager to ensure operational success across the supply chain and manufacturing for new product introductions and product lifecycles. The role reports to the Sr Director, Materials Program Management and is a full-time, on-site position.

You will own materials readiness and work with engineering, quality, and suppliers to meet production schedules.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or 8+ years experience preferred.
  • Proven problem-solving skills with data-driven decisions.
  • Strong written and verbal communication abilities.
  • Experience with New Product Introduction (NPI), planning, and supply chain preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Manage supply chain and manufacturing requirements to support product development.
  • Project manage Operations NPI and Product Lifecycle Process requirements.
  • New products ownership and materials readiness for new products.
  • Oversee materials availability, DF M feedback, and system readiness.
  • Coordinate with Engineering, Quality, and Manufacturing on schedules and deliverables.
  • Track critical component costs and supplier communications.
  • Communicate materials updates at weekly product reviews.

We are looking for Sr Materials Planning to join our team in one of today’s most exciting technologies.

This role willreportto the Sr Director, Materials Program Managementand will be based in San Jose, CA.This is a fully on-site, in officerole5 days a week.

The Sr Materials Program Manager plays a critical role in ensuring operational success for the Supply Chain and Manufacturing organization.

Role and Responsibilities
  • Manage supply chain and manufacturing requirements to support product development
  • Project manage Operations NPI and Product Lifecycle Process requirements
  • New products ownership
  • Responsible for materials readiness, availability, and visibility for new products
  • Responsible for manufacturing readiness; DFM feedback, NPI build planning, system readiness
  • Interacting with our supply partners and internal core teams like Engineering , Quality, Manufacturing etc. on new product schedules and deliverables
  • Engineering and development builds & component cost tracking
  • Critical component planning, quoting, procurement, and materials liability management
  • Prepare and communicate critical Materials updates at weekly new product Program reviews
  • Through a deep understanding of our commodity terms, ensure the logistical flow of materials necessary to meet production schedules, inventory control requirements, and ongoing material line support
  • New product handoff to operations team
Skills, Experience, and Education
  • Preferred Bachelor's Degree or minimum 8+ years of professional experience required.
  • Positive attitude and team work
  • Ability to problem-solve and influence others through relationships and data
  • MS Excel and Power Point knowledge with deep understanding of Excel techniques.
  • Professional experience with New Product Introduction (NPI), planning, and supply chain experience preferred.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to present to management required.
  • International experience and/or Mandarin, Japanese, Vietnamese language skills a plus

#LI-S1 Salary Ranges: $155,800.00 - $224,200.00
