Job summary

Responsibilities

• Process returned parts accurately from the Service organization.
• Coordinate with Production Planner to process and channel returned instrumentation.
• Pack and dispatch service parts.
• Maintain the Returns area to ensure a safe working environment.
• Collaborate with ATSC colleagues.
• Perform other duties within the returns area.

Waters Corporation is currently looking to hire a Material Handler to join our team. In this role you will have the opportunity to work within the Americas Training and Service Center (ATSC), which is a newly formed team based inMilford HQ dedicated to supporting the Waters Field Service Organization.This is an opportunity to become a valued team member in a world-class specialty measurement company.

Responsibilities

• Accurate processing of returned parts from the Service organization


• Workingwith theProduction Planner in ATSC to accuratelyprocessand channelreturnedinstrumentation.


• Preparation,packingand dispatching of Service parts.


• Maintaining the Returns area to ensure a safe working environment


• Working withATSCcolleaguesto


• Other miscellaneous dutieswithin the returns area.

Qualifications

Education:

• High School graduate, GED or equivalent

Experience:

• 2+ yearswarehouse background is highly preferential along with familiarityonwarehouse safety procedures.


• Computer experience and softwareproficiency. Daily use of Microsoft Outlook, Teams, and SAPis highly desired.


• Verbal and written communication skills: Essential to work within a larger team and communicate with Field Service personnel responsible for the returns.


• Administration skills: Essential to organize, keep good notes and record data neatly and accurately whilst paying close attention to detail.


• Prioritizing and handling daily/weekly workloads with the ability to multitask.

Skills:

• Reliability


• Ability to operate material handling equipment, including the following: Pallet Jack, Hand Truck, and Step Ladder


• Basic math skills with emphasis on addition and subtraction


• Familiar with warehouse safety procedures


• Sound communication skills, which includes the ability to work in a team environment


• Ability to comprehend and exchange verbal and written instructions


• Administration skill, which include the ability to organize and record data neatly and accurately by paying close attention to detail


• Good notes keeper and eager to learn new processes.


• Ability to prioritize workload


• Able to work overtime on short notice during peak workload periods


• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds
