Job Description

In this role, you will:

  • Coordinate material plans that support the needs of various Kimberly-Clark Professional projects, while achieving customer service objectives at the lowest total delivered cost.

  • Execute material requirement plans to ensure supplies and work-in-process availability which supports production schedules and optimizes inbound efficiencies.

  • Provide long-term forecasts to vendors and acts as liaison between Planning, Procurement, and Suppliers.

  • Coordinate with Mid-term Planners and provide direction to Material Planners on material changes to support business plans and minimize obsolescence in collaboration with Operations, Marketing, Planning, and Packaging.

  • Work with suppliers to coordinate their schedules and establish priorities when required to prevent supply constraints or customer service; ensure vendor resources will support business plan.

  • Maintain accurate recipe planning information for raw materials in SAP-ERP (an Enterprise Resource Planning system), updating as necessary for material / product changes.

  • Participate and lead problem solving and process improvement with production site, staff, and vendor teams.

  • Lead and / or participate in various projects which support achieving both production site and staff objectives.

In one of our Supply Chain roles, you’ll focus on winning with consumers and the market, while putting safety, mutual respect, and human dignity at the center. To succeed in this role, you will need the following qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business/Logistics/Supply Chain or related field

  • 2 or more years of experience in Supply Chain/Operations at a site or staff level

  • Demonstrated ability to organize resources and analyze alternatives to make effective decisions

  • Strong communication and collaboration skills, building trust with others

  • Willingness to challenge the status quo and facilitate different perspectives to drive solutions

  • Strong analytical skillset, and Microsoft Excel proficiency

  • A demonstrated ability to provide work direction and influence peers and others

Preferred (not essential, but desired):

  • Previous Experience as a Material Planner and / or Production Scheduler

  • Experience with SAP (R3 or APO) is preferred

  • Working knowledge of supply chain interactions

Salary Range: 78,660 – 92,980 USD At Kimberly-Clark, pay is just one aspect of our total rewards package, which also includes a variety of benefits and opportunities to achieve, thrive and grow. Along with base pay, this position offers eligibility for a target bonus and a comprehensive benefits suite, including our 401(k) and Profit Sharing plan. The anticipated base pay range for this role is provided above for a fully qualified hire. Actual pay will depend on several factors, such as location, role, skills, performance, and experience. Please note that the stated pay range applies to US locations only.
