Rolls-Royce Power Systems in Mankato, MN seeks a Sr. Material Flow Planner to design and optimize end-to-end material flow processes, driving efficiency and reducing waste across the supply chain. You will leverage LEAN principles, coordinate cross-functional logistics, and implement SAP-compatible solutions to support business growth.

The role requires a mix of degrees and/or experience in logistics planning or material flow design, with a strong emphasis on collaboration and problem-solving.

Qualifications

Associates degree in Business, Engineering, or related field + 4 years of experience in logistics planning, materials management, or material flow design.
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, or related field + 2 years of experience in logistics planning, materials management, or material flow design.
Master’s degree in Business, Engineering, or related field.
JD/PhD in Business, Engineering, or related field.
In lieu of degree, 6+ years of experience in logistics planning, materials management, or material flow design.
U.S. Citizen or U.S. Permanent Resident; eligible to work in the U.S. without sponsorship.

Responsibilities

Design and optimize material flow by implementing end-to-end processes using LEAN to improve efficiency.
Plan and coordinate complex cross-functional logistics processes with multiple stakeholders.

Position Summary

As a Material Flow Planner, you will play a key role in designing and optimizing end-to-end material flow processes to drive efficiency and reduce waste across the supply chain. This position is critical for ensuring seamless logistics integration, leveraging LEAN principles, and implementing SAP-compatible solutions that support business growth.

What You Will Be Doing

Design and optimize material flow by implementing end-to-end processes, leveraging LEAN principles to ensure efficiency, reduce waste, and ensure seamless integration across the supply chain.
Plan and coordinate complex, cross-functional Logistics processes involving multiple internal and external stakeholders.
Implement and enhance IT-supported Logistics planning tools, considering new and modified planning methods.
Develop timelines, resource allocation strategies, and cost calculations to support Logistics and supply chain initiatives.
Design, model, and implement SAP-compatible system solutions tailored to business requirements.

Basic Requirements

Associates degree in Business, Engineering, or related field + 4 years of experience in logistics planning, materials management, or material flow design.
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, or related field + 2 years of experience in logistics planning, materials management, or material flow design.
Master’s degree in Business, Engineering, or related field.
JD/PhD in Business, Engineering, or related field.
In lieu of degree, 6+ years of experience in logistics planning, materials management, or material flow design.
