The Supply Chain department creates value for Makita and its customers by planning inventory to efficiently meet customers’ needs, while effectively using Makita’s resources. The Master Data Specialist is responsible for maintaining and improving the integrity, accuracy, and structure of item master data across our supply chain systems. This position supports both day‑to‑day data execution and long‑term data quality initiatives that enable process automation, system integration, and analytics readiness. Working closely with cross‑functional teams, this role plays a key part in transforming how we manage our item records to support operational efficiency and future digital capabilities.

Supervisory Responsibility: This position does not have direct supervisory responsibilities.
Work Environment: This position works in a hybrid environment and must use software and tools to communicate with others while working remotely. The work is fast-paced, focused on continuous improvement and continuous learning while operating under high demand/volume. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, and photocopiers, etc.
Travel: Routine travel is not expected. Occasional travel may be needed for training.
