Job description

POSITION SUMMARY: The Sr Marketing Manager, Signatera GU will be responsible for creating and executing the marketing strategies and tactics for the Signatera MRD test in patients with genitourinary cancers. This individual will be a significant contributor on the marketing team responsible for achieving growth objectives for Signatera by ensuring that MRD testing becomes integrated into standard of care testing for the test’s key indications. The role will report to the Sr Director of Signatera Commercial Marketing.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  1. Develop and execute marketing plans that reinforce the utility of Signatera for use in genitourinary cancers.
  2. Assess product sales performance and metrics and report to key stakeholders across the organization, identify and address gaps to ensure achievement of growth objectives.
  3. Manage the creation of marketing and sales collaterals that would be used in the field and for digital marketing.
  4. Manage speaker bureau content and speaker list to reflect the latest clinical data in breast cancer.
  5. Identify and manage marketing and educational programs offered by relevant third-party organizations.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  1. Bachelor’s degree in life sciences, advanced degree preferred (MBA or PhD).
  2. 5-7 years previous experience in product marketing, field sales, market analytics in the medical diagnostics / pharmaceutical / biotech or other related industry.
  3. 30% travel required (advisory boards, congresses, sales / marketing meetings, customer meetings).
  4. Experience in Oncology and/or genomics strongly preferred.
  5. Familiarity of FDA approved treatments for solid tumor cancers desired but not required.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES:

  1. Proven strategic agility with an enterprise mindset and ability to operate with executive presence.
  2. Ability to partner and collaborate across a broad range of internal and external partners.
  3. Strong customer orientation and focus.
  4. Proven ability to communicate the complex simply (biomarkers, multiple indications, etc.).
  5. Strong organizational / time management skills; manage and complete multiple projects.
  6. Demonstrated ability to establish thought leader relationships.
  7. Strong leadership, communication, collaboration skills.

This role will serve as an integral part of the oncology commercial marketing team and will support the expansion of Signatera MRD test and the oncology portfolio in the genitourinary space. This candidate may also be asked to help lead other projects related to the expansion of the oncology portfolio in collaboration with the product and pipeline team.

Anticipated Travel: 30%

The pay range is listed and actual compensation packages are based on a wide array of factors unique to each candidate, including but not limited to skill set, years & depth of experience, certifications and specific office location. This may differ in other locations due to cost of labor considerations.
