Senior Marketing Manager, Calming & WellnessCommutable to a Ceva US Location (Bridgewater, NJ – Durham, NC – Lenexa, KS)
Ceva is seeking a talented, energetic, experienced Marketer to develop strategy and drive marketing plans for the Calming & Wellbeing portfolio, with a primary focus on Canine Calming and Wellness. This presents a dynamic opportunity across multiple customer segments and channels (including e-commerce, brick-n-mortar retail, veterinary clinics, and more.) The incumbent will own strategic and tactical marketing, branding, advertising, and promotional activities, and maintain forecasts for products within the scope of responsibility. The Brand Manager will focus on delivering expected financial targets for products in the assigned portfolio by maximizing the unique opportunity in each channel.
Responsibilities
- Develop creative, sales-generating brand marketing plans based on sound strategy analysis and insights that serve a B2B and B2C audience. Execute those plans flawlessly and with strict adherence to expense guidelines. Key elements to marketing plans include:
- Solid positioning and messaging at the portfolio/product level that serves an omnichannel opportunity.
- B2B marketing plans, programs and campaigns that communicate product value propositions, educate internal and external customers, and build brand awareness while complying with regulatory standards (advertising, conference activities, KOL events, media tours/events).
- B2C marketing plans that drive awareness, trial, loyalty, and advocacy through novel approaches to pet owner engagement.
- Ensure that all plans/tools are compelling and effectively deliver clear, differentiated brand messages vs competition.
- Maintain a close connection to the Ceva Sales team and Strategic Accounts team. Provide partnership with frequent communication to convey strategy and business updates. Deliver meaningful insights, preempt their needs, and provide the tools needed to achieve our unified goals.
- Build connections and relationships across the entire Ceva Companion Animal organization, both within the North American Zone and with colleagues in global headquarters. Work with the Companion Animal Global Franchise team to develop launch plans, line extensions, and product positioning, and create plans for local execution in the U.S. Provide support to the commercial team in Canada as needed.
- Build relationships with Key Opinion Leaders, both individuals and organizations, that impact Ceva’s opportunity for growth and position as a market leader.
- Maintain accurate production and expense forecasts for individual product SKUs. Learn and use forecasting tools provided and submit regular updates per scheduled timelines.
- Continually analyze market research and business results, strive to understand Ceva’s successes and challenges and quickly formulate appropriate actions to respond to identified opportunities. Regularly monitor trends within the category and develop effective and prompt plans to capitalize on market trends and respond to competitive threats.
- Manage Ceva’s relationship with all outside vendors who provide marketing support services including agencies, market research firms, promotion companies and fulfillment centers.

Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, or related field required. MBA preferred.
- Work experience: 5 to 10 years of brand marketing experience, including a strong background in developing and executing marketing strategy and plans. Relevant Animal Health experience preferred.
Travel Required:
- Estimated 10% - 30% domestic travel is required, depending on location. Some international travel may be required.
