Job description

Sr. Marketing Manager - Acquisition US, Amazon Flex

The Amazon Flex team is looking for a Sr. Acquisition Marketing Manager to own the acquisition of delivery partners across the United States. This is a high impact and exciting role which involves end to end ownership of delivery partner acquisition strategy, budget, channel selection, and optimization.

This individual will be in charge of managing marketing campaigns at a both a country and regional level, they will own acquisition targets and budget; ensuring both are met on time for all regions throughout the year. To achieve their long-term targets they will look around corners, piloting channels and campaigns which help Amazon Flex achieve cut-through in regions or cohorts which are harder to recruit. At the heart of everything you do will be ensuring Amazon Flex delivery partners have the best possible experience.

A successful candidate will have experience in leading brand and performance campaigns, either in agency or client-side; and is comfortable managing multiple agency partnerships and internal stakeholders. They are a data-driven decision maker; able to carve out insights from complex information and use it to make optimizations or inform strategy. This role will require strong written and verbal communication skills, the ability to move fast to meet targets and be inventive when solving problems.


Key job responsibilities
• Own acquisition marketing strategy which allows Amazon Flex to acquire our target audiences within unique delivery areas across the United States.
• Own the ongoing planning, optimization and execution of the Amazon Flex paid marketing channels, including new channel assessments and testing plans.
• Own budget planning and tracking; working closely with business and finance stakeholders
• Drive rapid experimentation of campaign types, channels and programs to achieve greater lead volume from high value segments and hard-to-recruit regions
• Work with a diverse range of technical and non-technical stakeholders to influence changes that give Amazon Flex delivery partners the best possible experience, and meet long term recruitment objectives.
• Ensure there are strong mechanisms for measuring marketing channel performance, integrating market research into campaigns and planning based on on-the-ground insights, occasionally requiring travel to recruiting regions.

About the team
Amazon Flex is a Last Mile delivery channel that engages delivery partners a gig-work model to deliver packages to Amazon customers, primarily for orders with ultra-fast delivery promises. This role is part of the Flex MACRO team, responsible for acquisition, onboarding, first-route activation and lifecycle engagement of delivery partners

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

- 6+ years of professional non-internship marketing experience
- 6+ years of developing and managing acquisition marketing or channel programs experience
- Experience using data and metrics to drive improvements
- Experience with Excel or Tableau (data manipulation, macros, charts and pivot tables)
- Experience building, executing and scaling cross-functional marketing programs
- Experience with test and learn, marketing optimization, and experimentation

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

- Experience driving direction and alignment with large cross-functional teams and agency partners
- Experience with agency management and media buying
- Ability to design and execute campaigns based on marketing research
- Experience running performance and brand campaigns

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $106,400/year in our lowest geographic market up to $185,000/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company. Dependent on the position offered, equity, sign-on payments, and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits.
