Job summary

Eos Energy Storage in Pittsburgh, PA, is seeking a Senior Supervisor, Manufacturing to lead day-to-day production operations, ensuring safety, quality and on-time delivery. You will manage a team of Supervisors, drive continuous improvement, and partner with engineering to implement new processes while upholding strong safety standards.

The role requires 7+ years in manufacturing with supervisory experience, strong leadership and data-driven decision-making in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Bachelor's degree in business or related field, or 2-year trade school degree preferred.
• 7+ years of manufacturing experience; 5+ years supervisory experience preferred.

Responsibilities

This role requires a strong background in manufacturing, leadership skills, and a proven track record of driving continuous improvement.This role is accountable for meeting production deliverables, immediate communication to the management team regarding production, quality, environmental or safety issues, and managing the performance and conduct of production supervisors and employees.Location: Onsite in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.Responsibilities:Through a team of Manufacturing Supervisors, lead manufacturing team members to meet production targets and deadlines.Oversee the Manufacturing Supervisor team activities which include scheduling, completing performance reviews, issuing corrective action, training, timecard approvals, Production Recording verification, etc. Personally oversee the disciplinary process.Assist Manufacturing Management by compiling shift data and preparing reports for daily status meetings using Microsoft Excel.Act as a back-up for Manufacturing Supervisors.Act as a back-up for Manufacturing Management.Draft written manufacturing procedures.Train, mentor, and evaluate team members to foster growth and skill development.Mentor and motivate team members to increase engagement. Create and promote a respectful and positive work environment.Manage all planning, scheduling and material flow issues to meet production schedules and customer requirements.Act as communications hub for the team, disseminating pertinent and timely information.Ensure routine manufacturing functions, as well as special manufacturing needs and repair of warranty product, are scheduled.Monitor manufacturing flow, using data indicators to schedule workload, ensuring output meets targeted goals. This includes monitoring and signing-off on MDI, KPIs, and the Hour-by-Hour boards and other production metrics, implementing countermeasures, manage checklists, perform safety inspections and audits, conduct manufacturing investigations and perform root cause analysis, etc.Identify opportunities for improvement and implement corrective actions.Maintain and boost production efficiency, initiate and implement continuous improvement projects, and work with manufacturing engineers to implement new processes.Assist in performing hands-on production duties as needed.Own quality output for the team as a key stakeholder in Eos’s quality program.Ensure team members keep a clean and organized work environment.
