We are seeking an experienced Quality Engineering professional who can work independently to set and achieve objectives within their area of responsibility. This role involves influencing process and planning decisions by leveraging expertise in Quality Engineering policies, practices, and procedures.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Act as the quality leader by participating in the Material Review Board, supporting certification audits (e.g., ISO 9001:2015), advocating for a process-focused approach, and driving a culture shift from reactive to proactive quality management.
2. Collaborate with the Operations team to review and develop robust processes, leading regular quality meetings to evaluate and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
3. Review, report, and analyze data to identify quality issue trends, lead investigations, and apply root cause analysis to develop corrective measures.
4. Lead quality audits of finished products and testing units, report findings, and ensure corrective actions are implemented.
5. Manage the process for controlling non-conforming materials, including Material Review Board activities, to reduce scrap and rejects.
6. Develop and implement programs aimed at reducing scrap, improving first pass yield, and lowering the cost of poor quality.
7. Work closely with Engineering, Supply Chain, and Operations on engineering change orders and production deviations.
8. Participate in cross-functional teams to improve processes and data reporting.
9. Develop, modify, and maintain quality evaluation and control systems and protocols.
10. Analyze quality data and recommend corrective actions (CAPA) for nonconformities and design issues.
11. Utilize PPAP core elements (e.g., PFMEA, MSA, Process Flow, Control Plans) to manage risk in product development.
12. Ensure compliance with work transfer and process change management requirements, including PPAP acceptance.
13. Review process control documentation for compliance with requirements and objectives.
14. Perform additional duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or a related technical field from an accredited institution.
• At least 2 years of experience in a Quality Engineering role, preferably in manufacturing or industrial fields.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Quality certifications (e.g., QCT, CQPA) and/or Six Sigma certifications.
• Knowledge of ISO and IEC regulations and guidance (e.g., Design Controls, Risk Management, GxP).
• Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills, with a strong problem-solving aptitude.
• Technical writing skills for protocols, reports, SOPs, and work instructions.
• Advanced data analysis skills (e.g., CPK, statistical analysis), familiarity with supplier quality metrics, non-conformance tracking, design for manufacturability, and root cause analysis.
• Proficiency in JDE, SAP, Minitab, Excel, and Power BI.
• Ability to perform under stress, meet deadlines, and lead projects effectively.
• Commitment to safety and adherence to company guidelines.

Additional Preferences:

• Quality certifications such as CQE or CQPA.
• Knowledge of ISO and IEC standards, including design controls and risk management.
• Proficiency in Minitab, MS Excel, and Power BI.
