They have a fantastic culture and due to promotions as well as exciting growth, they are seeking an experienced Manufacturing Engineer to join their team!

Job Description
  • Design, refine, and sustain production processes to enhance throughput, minimize waste, and maintain high-quality standards
  • Evaluate and optimize plant layouts, material flow, and operations using Lean and Six Sigma methodologies
  • Work cross-functionally with engineering, design, and quality teams to troubleshoot issues and implement design or process changes
  • Champion ongoing process improvements tied to cost savings, efficiency, and workplace safety
  • Develop and maintain clear, up-to-date documentation such as work instructions and standard operating procedures
  • Production Supervision
  • Oversee daily production activities to ensure targets for quality, output, and timing are consistently met
  • Direct and support production staff through effective scheduling, coaching, and performance oversight
  • Track key production indicators like uptime, yield, and waste; lead corrective actions when metrics fall short
  • Promote a culture of safety and accountability, ensuring all operations comply with internal policies and external regulations
  • Lead daily huddles, coordinate problem-solving efforts, and foster clear communication among teams

The Successful Applicant

A Successful Candidate Will Have:

  • 3+ years of experience in a manufacturing environment
  • Proven ability to lead small production teams and execute to a schedule
  • Hands-on experience managing Lean or Continuous Improvement (CI) projects
  • A track record of improving efficiency, either as a leader or key contributor
  • Strong understanding of GMP and manufacturing machinery
  • Experience working with metals or plastics in a production setting
  • A proactive, hands-on leadership style

  • Extensive CI/Lean project experience
  • More of a Manufacturing Engineer profile than purely a Production Supervisor
