Job summary

Stryker is seeking an engineer to develop and implement manufacturing processes for complex electromechanical products. You will drive process design, validation, documentation, and continuous improvement in a regulated manufacturing environment, contributing across the product lifecycle.

In this role, you will design and improve transfer-ready processes, maintain SOPs and risk assessments, and collaborate with R&D, quality, regulatory, and operations teams to ensure product readiness and robust

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related engineering discipline.
  • Minimum 2 years of engineering experience in a manufacturing environment.
  • Experience developing or implementing manufacturing processes for electromechanical products or assemblies.
  • Experience creating and maintaining engineering documentation, including procedures, process risk assessments, or validation documentation.

  • Design and implement manufacturing processes for complex electromechanical assemblies to support product transfer and production readiness.
  • Develop, refine, and maintain engineering documentation, including SOPs, process risk assessments, manufacturing work instructions, and validation protocols.
  • Execute process development, qualification, and validation activities while ensuring compliance with established quality management system requirements.
  • Analyze manufacturing performance data, apply statistical and engineering tools, and implement process improvements to support quality, efficiency, and operational performance goals.
  • Partner with R&D, quality, regulatory, clinical, marketing, and project management teams to support new product introduction, process setup, and manufacturing scale-up activities.

Job description

Bring your engineering expertise to a role focused on developing and implementing manufacturing processes for complex electromechanical products. This position combines process development, new product transfer, and manufacturing readiness, offering the opportunity to work across multiple functions throughout the product lifecycle. You will contribute to process design, validation, documentation, and continuous improvement activities in a regulated manufacturing environment.

What You Will Do
  • Design and implement manufacturing processes for complex electromechanical assemblies to support product transfer and production readiness.
  • Develop, refine, and maintain engineering documentation, including standard operating procedures, process risk assessments, manufacturing work instructions, and validation protocols.

What You Will Need
Required

  • Experience with process development, process transfer, or new product launch within a manufacturing facility.
  • Working knowledge of manufacturing methods, electrical components, and troubleshooting techniques.
  • Experience applying statistical analysis tools and process improvement methodologies in manufacturing.
  • Knowledge of Lean manufacturing principles and their application in a production environment.
United States of America Pay Ranges

$77,700 - $129,500 USD Annual
