POSITION SUMMARY

The Senior Manager - Warehouse Operations provides strategic and operational leadership for all warehouse operations across the Pelzer Integrated Solutions Campus, supporting multiple manufacturing facilities operating within an integrated Oracle ERP environment. This role is responsible for developing and executing warehouse strategies that ensure the safe, efficient, and standardized flow of materials from receiving through production support to customer shipment while maintaining inventory accuracy, ERP transaction integrity, operational excellence, and customer service. Reporting through this position are the Warehouse Managers responsible for each manufacturing facility, providing a consistent leadership structure, operational governance, and standardized warehouse processes across the campus. The Senior Manager partners closely with Manufacturing, Planning, Procurement, Logistics, Engineering, Quality, Finance, and Program Management to ensure warehouse execution supports production schedules, customer commitments, and revenue recognition. This position plays a critical role in driving warehouse standardization, Oracle ERP compliance, inventory accuracy, operational efficiency, and continuous improvement while ensuring the warehouse organization is scalable to support the continued growth of the Pelzer campus.

RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Strategic Leadership
    • Provide strategic leadership and direction for all warehouse operations across the Pelzer Integrated Solutions Campus.
    • Lead, coach, and develop Warehouse Managers and warehouse leadership teams while establishing clear accountability and performance expectations.
    • Develop and implement standardized warehouse processes, KPIs, and best practices across all manufacturing facilities.
    • Build a scalable warehouse organization capable of supporting continued operational growth.
  • Warehouse Operations
    • Oversee all warehouse functions including Receiving, Inventory Control, Material Handling, Production Support, Finished Goods, Shipping, Internal Logistics, and Warehouse Operations.
    • Ensure safe, efficient, and accurate movement of materials between warehouse and production operations.
    • Optimize warehouse layouts, storage strategies, dock utilization, and internal material flow.
    • Lead warehouse capacity planning to support expanding production requirements.
  • Oracle ERP Governance
    • Ensure all warehouse transactions are executed accurately and in compliance with Oracle ERP processes.
    • Drive compliance for receiving, inventory transactions, warehouse transfers, work order issues, shipping transactions, and inventory controls.
    • Maintain high levels of inventory integrity to support MRP planning, production execution, customer delivery, and financial reporting.
    • Support continuous improvement of warehouse processes through effective ERP utilization.
  • Inventory Control
    • Lead inventory accuracy initiatives through cycle counting, physical inventories, reconciliation, and inventory governance.
    • Ensure compliance with SOX controls, audit requirements, and corporate inventory policies.
    • Reduce inventory discrepancies through disciplined warehouse execution and transaction accuracy.
  • Shipping & Logistics Coordination
    • Oversee inbound receiving, outbound shipping, staging, and warehouse logistics activities.
    • Coordinate with transportation providers and internal stakeholders to ensure on-time customer deliveries.
    • Improve warehouse throughput, dock scheduling, and shipment execution while minimizing operational delays.
  • Continuous Improvement
    • Lead Lean Manufacturing, 5S, warehouse optimization, and continuous improvement initiatives across all warehouse operations.
    • Identify opportunities to improve productivity, eliminate waste, optimize labor utilization, and reduce operating costs.
    • Utilize warehouse performance metrics and KPIs to drive operational excellence.
  • Safety & Compliance
    • Champion a world-class safety culture across all warehouse operations.
    • Ensure compliance with OSHA regulations, forklift safety, warehouse standards, and environmental requirements.
    • Drive compliance with Vertiv operational standards and warehouse governance.
  • People Leadership
    • Build, develop, and mentor high-performing warehouse leadership teams.
    • Foster a culture of accountability, teamwork, customer focus, operational discipline, and continuous improvement.
    • Lead succession planning, employee development, and workforce engagement across the warehouse organization.
QUALIFICATIONS

Minimum Qualifications

  • 6-8 years of progressive leadership experience in warehouse operations within a manufacturing environment.
  • Demonstrated experience leading warehouse teams and supporting multi-site or multi-functional warehouse operations.
  • Strong knowledge of warehouse management, inventory control, material flow, shipping, receiving, and logistics coordination.
  • Experience working within Oracle ERP or comparable enterprise warehouse management systems.
  • Proven ability to lead teams, drive operational improvements, and implement standardized warehouse processes.
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills with the ability to make sound operational decisions in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience supporting high-volume manufacturing operations across multiple facilities.
  • Working knowledge of Oracle ERP, warehouse management systems, inventory governance, and operational KPI management.
  • Experience leading Lean Manufacturing, 5S, Continuous Improvement, or Operational Excellence initiatives.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, coaching, and stakeholder management skills with the ability to influence cross-functional teams.
