Sr. Manager, Value-Based Care Operations

The Sr. Manager, Value-Based Care Operations will be part of a team managing a diversified value-based care platform with over 100+ VBC contracts and over 1 million attributed lives across commercial, Medicare (Medicare Advantage & MSSP), and Medicaid lines of business in 14 states.

This role involves implementing and managing existing and new value-based care arrangements, coordinating with payer contracting, business analytics, and population health market leads. The manager will troubleshoot issues, serve as a communication liaison with payers, and manage a portfolio of value-based care arrangements, including risk management and opportunity development.

Responsibilities include creating and refining workflows, leading implementation, developing relationships with business owners and subject matter experts, and understanding the technical designs, terms, and metrics of VBC programs. The role requires developing action plans, delivering operational training, partnering with cross-functional teams, and maintaining strategic payer relationships.

The manager will serve as an escalation point for issues and support project management activities, including scope definition, planning, risk mitigation, and stakeholder communication. They will also prepare project deliverables, monitor progress, and coordinate workgroups and meetings.

Minimum qualifications include a Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience, 2+ years in managed care operations, value-based care, or provider reimbursement and analytics, with preferred experience in commercial, Medicare Advantage, and Medicaid managed care. Knowledge of project management tools and HIPAA compliance is required.

Interpersonal skills should include collaboration, customer focus, organizational ability, problem-solving, and adaptability to a fast-paced environment. Technical aptitude and excellent communication skills are essential.

The salary range is $95,000 to $110,000, excluding bonuses and benefits, with an annual bonus potential of 15% and restricted stock units. Compensation will be based on experience, education, and location.
