We are looking for our Engineering Manager who has a solid track record of developing and nurturing strong teams, while maintaining the hands‑on technical abilities to navigate and contribute to our engineering roadmap. You will be responsible for supporting the engineering team that owns the distributed systems powering Chronosphere’s logging platform. You are comfortable working within a complex product and infrastructure roadmap and have the ability to prioritize and balance work across our individual contributors. You know how to support engineers at all stages of their career, and are motivated to help them do their best work.
In the first month, you will build a deep understanding of Chronosphere’s platform and begin contributing to the product. You will have time to learn about the space, our customer’s needs, and the underlying technology, and will contribute to small features to gain familiarity with the stack. Furthermore you’ll develop an understanding of the architecture of Chronosphere’s distributed storage systems as well as the team’s on‑going projects and forward looking roadmap. After your month, you will take ownership of the roadmap for your area, working with product and your engineering team to establish priorities and a delivery plan, and beginning to identify and drive strategic initiatives forward.
United States - Remote
The compensation offered for this position will depend on qualifications, experience, and work location. For candidates who receive an offer at the posted level, the starting base salary (for non-sales roles) or base salary + commission target (for sales/com‑missioned roles) is expected to be the annual range listed below.
