The Sr Manager, Security Engineering & Architecture, under the general direction of Infrastructure & Security leadership, will define the architecture and technical vision and strategy of cloud and on-premises security controls across the organization. The candidate will operate at the intersection of Business and Technology to deliver security products that improve Lennar’s security posture in a hybrid, multi-cloud environment. Responsibilities include articulating and translating the overall technical strategy, evaluating solutions and vendors, and translating business objectives and risk management strategies into specific security processes enabled by security technologies and services.

Your Responsibilities on the Team

  • Develop and implement security solutions aligned with business, technology, and threat drivers.
  • Collaborate with governance and sourcing teams to develop security strategies and roadmaps based on enterprise architecture best practices.
  • Maintain security architecture artifacts (models, patterns, standards) for use in projects and operations.
  • Partner with enterprise security & governance teams to assess and mitigate cloud security risks.
  • Provide consulting on security architecture and risk management to projects.
  • Champion industry-leading security standards and best practices across the enterprise.
  • Advise on security products and develop standards for data encryption and tokenization based on data classification.
  • Conduct vulnerability assessments and security reviews, prioritizing remediation based on risk.
  • Coordinate with DevOps teams to promote secure coding practices.
  • Participate in security assessments of vendors handling sensitive data.
  • Support testing and validation of internal security controls.
  • Assess the security of operational technology in collaboration with operational teams.
  • Establish multi-cloud cybersecurity architecture focusing on threat detection, control enforcement, and incident response.
  • Work with enterprise and domain architects to develop secure solutions.
  • Collaborate with SOC teams to define and enforce security standards.

Requirements

  • Exceptional communication, negotiation, facilitation, and influence skills.
  • Commitment to diversity, inclusion, and a distributed team environment.
  • Experience in talent development, mentorship, and performance management.
  • Willingness to innovate and explore new techniques for impactful change.
  • Deep understanding of cloud cybersecurity standards, frameworks, and best practices.
  • Extensive experience across various security domains such as application security, infrastructure security, identity and access management, vulnerability management, and security architecture.
  • Ability to identify gaps in security architecture.
  • Strong communication skills to explain complex technical issues clearly and authoritatively.
  • Experience with cloud providers like AWS or Azure across SPI models (SaaS, PaaS, IaaS) in various environments.
  • Bachelor's or master's degree in computer science or related field, with at least 10 years of security experience across platforms, operating systems, and networks, including 5 years designing and securing cloud deployments. Certifications such as CCSP, CISSP, CCSK are preferred.

Physical & Office/Site Presence Requirements:

This is primarily an office-based role requiring ability to operate computer equipment, speak, hear, and perform physical activities including lifting up to 25 lbs. Finger dexterity is necessary.
