Job summary

AdventHealth in Port Charlotte, FL is seeking a seasoned security leader to oversee daily operations of the hospital security department. The role enforces security procedures, coordinates with all departments, and supervises staff to ensure safety and regulatory compliance.

Responsibilities include managing investigations, budgeting for security, and contributing to emergency management plans. A strong background in hospital security and leadership is essential.

Qualifications

• Associate or technical degree required; Bachelor's preferred.
• 6+ years of related security experience; minimum 4+ years in leadership/management.
• 5+ safety and security management leadership in hospital/acute care (preferred).
• 5+ consulting in safety and emergency management (preferred).
• 5+ supervisory experience in law enforcement or military police (preferred).
