Job summary

AdventHealth in Port Charlotte, FL is seeking a Security Manager to oversee the security department, develop procedures, and coordinate with leadership to protect patients, staff and visitors. Strong leadership, risk assessment, and communication are essential in a fast-paced health system.

Responsibilities include budgeting, incident response, regulatory compliance, and liaison with hospital entities. Requires a DL, 6+ years in security, and a full-time day shift with comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or technical degree in a related field.
• Six or more years of related security management experience.
• Leadership/management experience in hospital/acute care setting preferred.
• CPHA/CPP/IAHSS certifications preferred.
• DL required; background screening per Florida law.
