Job summary

Applicants should have 6+ years in security leadership within hospital settings, a related degree, and relevant licenses. Excellent communication and decision-making under pressure are essential.

Qualifications

• Associate or technical degree; Bachelor’s preferred.
• 6+ years related experience in security; leadership experience required.
• Licenses/Certifications: DL; IA HSS preferred; BLS/CPHA/CPP preferred.

Job Description:

• Manages the daily operations of the security department.
• Develop and enforce security procedures and regulations.
• Acts as a liaison to all departments on security measures, procedures, and needs.
• Monitors and follows up on complaints and investigations.
• Assigns responsibilities and tasks to support department function.
• Monitors departmental budgets, regulatory compliance, departmental contracts, and policies/procedures.
• Prepares to exhibit oversight of emergency management plans.
