Job summary

Hyundai Capital America is seeking a Sr. Manager, Regional Sales, Insurance to lead the Extended Warranty/F&I business in the region.

The role requires building dealer relationships, negotiating programs, and driving regional sales objectives with a strong focus on leadership and development. You will coach District Managers of Insurance, design training for dealer staff, and align with regional finance and OEM teams to exceed targets.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in automobile finance industry, with a focus on Extended Warranty and/or F&I field sales.
• Minimum 5 years of management experience.
• BA/BS degree or equivalent; MBA a plus.
• Extensive menu selling knowledge/experience.
• Proficient in selling current F&I product suite portfolio.

Responsibilities

• Lead the Extended Warranty/F&I business in the Region, establishing dealer relationships and program structures.
• Coach and develop District Managers of Insurance (DMIs).
• Design and implement dealer, F&I, and field training to support Hyundai’s Insurance product and performance.

WHAT YOU WILL DO

The Extended Warranty RSM leads the Extended Warranty/F&I business conducted in the Region. The position will establish relationships with Dealers, negotiate program and deal structures, monitor their performance, achieve Region sales objectives, and lead the Region staff. Maximize the organization and performance of each District Manager (DMI) by providing coaching and guidance. Align closely with Regional Finance Managers and OEM staff in the Region to develop and implement regional programs and exceed annual sales objectives.

HOW YOU WILL MAKE AN IMPACT

Develop and execute the Region's sales objectives - specifically, Dealer conversion to the Hyundai-branded F&I product, program and deal structures

Coach, train, and develop District Sales Managers of Insurance (DMI’s)

Design and implement Dealer, F&I, and field training to support Hyundai’s Insurance product & performance

Interact with other regional sales (HCA,OEM) and dealer body / dealer councils / Ad associations on issues, concerns, opportunities; work cross-functionally with other HCA departments

WHAT YOU WILL BRING TO THE ROLE

10+ years in automobile finance industry, with a focus on Extended Warranty and/or F&I field sales. Captive experience preferred

Minimum 5 year of management experience

BA/BS degree or equivalent experience preferred, MBA a plus

Extensive menu selling knowledge/experience

Proficient in selling current F&I product suite portfolio

Proven history of account acquisitions through execution of established dealer conversion methods

Experienced in sustainable account development

Experience in "hands-on" development training of dealership personnel

Experienced in "train the trainer" in-store development

Adept Dealer conversion, income development, product knowledge, comprehension, and skill sets required
