Charles Schwab Corporation, through Schwab Retirement Plan Services, seeks a Senior Manager Proposal Writer in the Dallas area to develop and deliver complex proposal responses for retirement plan products.

You will manage RFIs/RFPs, coordinate input from multiple teams, and ensure timely, high-quality submissions in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.

Qualificações

• 5+ years of relevant experience in financial services, retirement plan administration, recordkeeping services, or stock plan administration.
• 3+ years of proposal experience required; 5+ years of proposal writing and/or business communications preferred.
• Bachelor’s degree preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Prepare responses to RFIs and RFPs from prospects, consultants, and current clients.
• Manage the proposal process from receipt of RFI/RFP through production and distribution to ensure on-time delivery.
• Balance timelines for multiple proposal projects, including advance prep for internal project calls.
• Coordinate information gathering from Proposal Knowledgebase, Sales, SMEs, Business Acceptance, Investment Services, etc.
• Respond quickly and accurately to follow-up questions and requests.
• Review and edit database proposal responses periodically.
• Provide Quality Assurance reviews for Proposal team and partners.
• Participate in continuous improvement and quality control projects to enhance support for the sales process.

The Business Development group is responsible for new business efforts overseeing Sales Support, Consultant Relations, Business Acceptance, and Client Retention. The individual selected for the Senior Manager Proposal Writer position will be responsible for the analysis and completion of new business proposals for all related plan products and services.

What You are Good At:

The Senior Manager Proposal Writer will be responsible for the development and delivery of responses to complex proposal requests from consultants and prospects; managing workload and deadlines; understanding the business processes of Schwab’s retirement and stock plan products and services including Nonqualified, Defined Benefit and Stock Plan and Equity Compensation offerings; and translating said information into a concise written form. The writer will work closely with Sales personnel and other members of the Business Development team to produce high-quality proposals in a deadline-driven environment.

Your Primary Responsibilities Include:

• Prepare responses to Requests for Information (RFIs) and Requests for Proposals (RFPs) from prospects, consultants, and current clients
• Manage the proposal process from receipt of RFI/RFP through production and distribution to ensure on-time delivery
• Balance timelines for multiple proposal projects at once, including being prepared in advance for all scheduled internal project calls
• Coordinate the information gathering process from various sources (Proposal Knowledgebase, Sales, Subject Matter Experts, Business Acceptance, Investment Services, etc.) to ensure a high-quality proposal response
• Quickly and accurately respond to related follow-up questions and other miscellaneous information requests
• Review and edit database proposal responses on a periodic basis
• Provide Quality Assurance reviews for Proposal team and other business partners
• Participate in continuous improvement and quality control projects to further enhance support of the business development sales process

What you have

• 5+ years of relevant experience in financial services, retirement plan administration, recordkeeping services, or stock plan administration
• 3+ years of proposal experience required; 5+ years of experience in proposal writing and/or business communications preferred
• Bachelor’s degree preferred
• Proven ability to communicate technical information in a clear manner
• Strong business communication skills and command of the English language including grammar, sentence structure, and proofreading ability
• Exceptional time management and organizational skills with demonstrated experience in managing multiple, deadline-driven projects
• Familiarity with industry standard proposal management tools and databases (Ex. QVidian, Loopio, RPAG, RFP Director, RFP360, Catapult, etc.)
• Experience working with AI software is a plus
• Ability to self-manage project details and work with different management levels within the organization
• Ability to quickly learn and gain in-depth understanding of new and existing products and services
• Ability to operate independently and as part of a team
• Attention to detail is imperative
• Excellent Microsoft suite skills
