Job summary

Solaris Energy Infrastructure, Inc. in the United States seeks a Senior Gas Turbine Maintenance Manager to lead maintenance strategy, reliability, and technical support for a multi-site gas turbine fleet. You'll oversee planned outages, engine swaps, and root-cause analysis while directing budgets and schedules.

You will mentor plant maintenance staff, coordinate OEMs and service providers, and ensure safety and environmental compliance across sites, driving reliability and availability.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 15–20+ years of gas turbine maintenance and power-generation experience preferred.
• Extensive experience with industrial/aeroderivative gas turbines, generators, turbine auxiliaries, controls, and associated systems.
• Demonstrated experience managing multiple turbines and/or multiple power-generation sites.
• Strong experience with planned outages, forced outages, troubleshooting, failure investigations, engine swaps, inspections, and OEM maintenance requirements.
• Proven ability to manage maintenance budgets, contractors, vendors, schedules, and critical spare parts.
• Significant travel to operating plants, OEM facilities, repair shops, and vendor locations required.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the U.S. without requiring sponsorship for employment visa status

Responsibilities

• Manage maintenance activities and strategy across a multi-site gas turbine fleet.
• Develop and maintain fleet preventive, predictive, and condition-based maintenance programs.
• Plan and support scheduled inspections, major maintenance outages, engine swaps, and component replacements.
• Lead technical response to forced outages, equipment failures, trips, and other critical reliability events.
• Coordinate troubleshooting, root-cause analysis, corrective actions, and fleet-wide lessons learned.
• Monitor turbine operating condition, performance trends, vibration, alarms, inspection findings, and equipment reliability.
• Manage turbine maintenance schedules, work scopes, maintenance records, and CMMS requirements.
• Develop and manage annual turbine maintenance budgets, outage forecasts, and long-range maintenance plans.
• Manage critical turbine spares, repairable components, tooling, and long-lead materials.
• Coordinate OEMs, technical advisors, specialty contractors, repair facilities, and service providers.
• Participate in borescope inspections, major component inspections, engine/component repair evaluations, FATs, and vendor shop visits.
• Provide technical support for commissioning, turbine replacements, upgrades, modifications, and return-to-service activities.
• Establish standardized fleet maintenance procedures, technical standards, and best practices.
• Support training and technical development of plant maintenance personnel.
• Conduct regular site visits and provide technical guidance to Plant Managers and Plant Maintenance Managers.
• Maintain a strong focus on safety, environmental compliance, equipment reliability, availability, and operational readiness.

About the Opportunity

The Senior Gas Turbine Maintenance Manager is responsible for the maintenance strategy, reliability, availability, and technical support of a multi-site gas turbine fleet. This position provides fleet-level leadership for routine maintenance, planned major outages, forced-outage response, troubleshooting, inspections, engine/component replacements, and long-term maintenance planning.
