Job description

We’re currently working on a confidential search with a nimble manufacturer and distributor of raw materials to various consumer goods industries. As they look to take their supply chain to the next level, they are looking to add a Sr. Manager of Supply Chain Planning to the team.

Position Description:

• Sr. Managerof Supply Chain Planning reporting to the VP of Supply Chain.
• Oversee a small team responsible for demand / supply balancing and supply chain execution / MRP in support of a multi-site operation.
• Drive improvements across forecast accuracy, service levels and weeks of supply.
• Responsible for associated process development, standardization and continuous improvement in areas like Supply Chain Optimization, Produce to Demand, and Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP)
• Cross-functional collaboration across the organization to drive supply chain projects.
• Protect the financial performance of the strategic business unit by identifying potential supply chain issues.

Background Required:

• Highly energetic individual with at least 10 years of supply chain planning and tactical procurement experience including supply planning, demand planning, MRP, etc.

• A strong business acumen with the ability to establish trust / relationships quickly.

• Experience in any manufacturing-related industry is required.
• Effective use of ERP / MRP tools such as SAP, Oracle, JD Edwards, NetSuite, Dynamics / D365, etc.
• Strong analytical capabilities leveraging Excel, Power BI, Tableau, etc.
• Proven track record of success in similar role.
