Travel: ~35% throughout the Central States region

Their portfolio spans smoothie packs, ready-to-eat bowls, beverages, and plant-based snacks available across retail and foodservice channels. As a growth-stage brand with strong values around health, wellness, and sustainability, they are building out their foodservice team to drive national expansion.

Role Overview

The Sr. Manager of Food Service Sales – Central U.S. will play a key role in expanding the company’s footprint across the region by cultivating relationships with commercial and non-commercial foodservice accounts. Reporting to the Vice President of Food Service Sales, this role is responsible for driving revenue growth through strategic partnerships with regional chains, colleges & universities, coffee/juice shops, and emerging segments such as healthcare and convenience stores.

This is a strategic and hands-on role that will involve owning the regional sales strategy, prospecting and closing key accounts, managing brokers and distributors, and partnering cross-functionally to shape go-to-market initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead foodservice sales strategy for the Central U.S., with a focus on Texas and surrounding states
  • Secure new business with regional chains and high-volume foodservice operators
  • Identify and penetrate emerging verticals such as healthcare, B&I, and C-store segments
  • Manage SG&A and trade spend aligned to budget goals
  • Develop and execute annual operating plans and performance forecasts
  • Build strong relationships with brokers, distributors, and key partners
  • Analyze sales performance and market trends to guide strategy and execution
  • Provide insights into customer needs to inform product innovation and packaging
  • Represent the company’s values and mission in all external relationships and industry engagements

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of progressive sales experience in foodservice, including 2+ years managing commercial and non-commercial accounts
  • Proven track record in business development and launching new products within foodservice channels
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or related field
  • Strong distributor and broker management experience
  • Ability to build, forecast, and deliver on sales budgets
  • Deep understanding of foodservice economics, trade programs, and financial modeling
  • Strong interpersonal and negotiation skills with a collaborative mindset
  • Passion for health, sustainability, or mission-driven business is a plus

  • Geographic Sales Territory - The Central Territory includes: Texas, New Mexico, Arizona, Colorado, Oklahoma, Kansas, Nevada, Nebraska, South Dakota, North Dakota.
