Are you a hands‑on technical leader who thrives on turning a legacy code base into a documented, modern, well‑run application portfolio? Do you believe development should be directed, not just delegated? ACS is looking for a strategic, technically deep Sr. Manager of Applications & Data to own delivery across our application portfolio: ensuring quality, reducing vendor dependency, and building the internal capability that scales with us.
Welcome to ACS: Commercial & Residential Flooring Specialists, where innovation meets a values‑driven culture.
At ACS, we're more than a flooring company. We're a growing, collaborative community grounded in four core values: Say Yes, Own It, Do What You Say, and We Care. These principles shape how we work, solve problems, and support each other every day.
As the Sr. Manager of Applications & Data, you will serve as the technical owner of ACS's application portfolio, including our proprietary CRM, SaaS systems, installer and customer‑facing tools, integrations, and our reporting and analytics environment. You will direct our contracted development partners, hold their work to a defined standard, and use AI‑assisted development tooling to document and de‑risk our legacy systems as we modernize.
Your work will directly impact delivery quality, technical debt, and vendor dependency — translating business requirements into systems that are built right and built to last.
Your objectives may be similar to:
- Owning technical delivery across ACS's application portfolio and directing the vendor capacity that builds it.
- Executing ACS's modernization pathway, using AI‑assisted tooling to document, de‑risk, and progressively bring development work in‑house.
- Owning the reporting and analytics environment to deliver reliable, real‑time insight to the business.

- Reduce single‑vendor dependency across all business‑critical systems.
Application Modernization & AI‑Assisted Development
- Bring the legacy code base into AI‑assisted development environments to generate architecture documentation, data flow mapping, business logic explanation, and technical debt identification.
- Use AI‑assisted development to accelerate enhancement, troubleshooting, refactoring, and testing of existing applications.
- Evaluate and recommend platform approach for new capability across custom development, low‑code platforms, and configuration.
