Description

POSITION DESCRIPTION: Q CELLS Home Energy Solutions seeks an experienced solar customer operations professional to lead a team, directing strategy and execution for the New Homes Customer Operations program. As the Senior Manager, you will oversee customer service in coordination with New Home Builders to support new homeowners with their solar and battery systems. Responsibilities include defining SOPs for customer support, ensuring communication and issue resolution excellence. This role involves building and scaling the solar customer service department to match business growth. The ideal candidate has experience in New Homes Solar Sales, strong analytical skills, excellent people skills, and leadership abilities. Experience in solar customer operations for new homes is required.

This position is based in Irvine, CA; San Francisco, CA; or Teaneck, NJ, with a flexible in-office schedule or remote work for exceptional cases.

Responsibilities
  • Build and develop a high-performing solar customer service team passionate about resolving issues and ensuring homeowner satisfaction.
  • Understand solar monitoring technology to provide quick solutions and seamless customer experience.
  • Develop SOPs and CRM systems to support new home customer service.
  • Prioritize customer satisfaction and retention, driving excellent metrics and market expansion.
  • Identify and implement continuous improvements focusing on efficiency and development.
  • Review operational processes for industry best practices.
  • Monitor team performance to improve cycle times.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally on new product rollouts to meet business objectives.
Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in business, management, communications, marketing, or related field, with 8-10+ years of professional experience, including 5+ years in solar customer service operations and 3+ years in leading large teams in New Homes sales operations.
  • Strong organizational, problem-solving, and analytical skills.
  • Excellent leadership, team development, and influencing skills.
  • Attention to detail and ability to recruit and lead quantitative talent.
  • Excellent communication skills for internal and external presentations.
  • Entrepreneurial mindset with ability to thrive in a high-growth environment.
