Job summary

Otis Elevator Company seeks a Sr Manager, Modernization to lead modernization field operations in the Central region. You will guide teams, oversee large bids, and drive quality across projects while maintaining strong customer satisfaction and adherence to schedules.

The role requires 5+ years in the elevator industry, leadership experience, and the ability to manage multiple projects in a dynamic environment. Travel up to 50% is expected.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; bachelor’s preferred.
• 5+ years elevator industry experience.
• Management experience required.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Self-motivated and able to manage many simultaneous projects.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership, training, and technical direction to Modernization employees and field operations staff, including support for large bids.
• Analyze office-level financial results, identify variances and drivers, report and support findings with corrective actions.
• Monitor field tests as well as first inspection and data reports.
• Collaborate with field teams to diagnose and resolve equipment issues and critical customer concerns, ensuring operational continuity and customer satisfaction.
• Analyze complaint trends and implement solutions to address systemic issues and enforce adherence to estimated schedules.
• Champion operational excellence through process accountability across the Modernization field Operations team within the Operating Area.
• Develop and communicate recommendations for product designs and performance requirements.
• Responsible for the quality of all modernizations in the Operating Area.
