RTX is seeking a Sr. Manager, Supply Chain Management to own supplier management and customer flow through FAR/DFARS, ITAR, and related requirements. This role ensures material objectives, leadership across procurement, contracts, and logistics, and strategic program support for IPDT/IPDP programs.

It can sit onsite in Largo, FL or Marlborough, MA with travel up to 10%. The ideal candidate has a track record in procurement, cost estimating, and IPT leadership, plus SAP expertise and the ability

Qualifications

  • University degree with 10 years of relevant experience or advanced degree with 7 years.
  • U.S. citizenship is required for access to program information.
  • Must be able to obtain DoD security clearance.
  • Experience in procurement, production control, receiving, cost estimating, logistics, and finance.
  • Experience leading Integrated Product Teams (IPT).
  • Experience with SAP.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and lead supply chain proposal activities.
  • Manage pre-award supplier assessment, reporting, tracking, and IPT delivery of procured material.
  • Ensure cost estimates and EAC accuracy; ensure processes and staffing are appropriate.
  • Conduct material contract closure with Contracts and Program Office.
  • Establish material priorities across IPT and/or program.
  • Provide supply chain support for Gates 2-11 and IPDP compliance.
  • Act as CAM or support the assigned CAM.
  • Prepare material pricing strategy and supplier flow down strategy.
  • Create Material Contract Brief (MCB) with Contracts and Supply Chain Advisor.
  • Establish risk and opportunities and mitigation plans.
  • Travel up to 10%.

The Sr. Manager, Supply Chain Management position is responsible for the overall ownership of the supplier management process and communication of customer flow through requirements such as FAR/DFARS, ITAR, offset, public law, quality, warranty, etc. They are also responsible to the customer and program management to meet all material contract objectives (technical, cost, schedule). The Sr. Manager must also have extensive knowledge in procurement, contracts, production control, logistics and program material strategy, financial execution of material requirements, and be able to demonstrate strong leadership capabilities. This individual can sit onsite at our Collins location in Largo, FL or Marlborough, MA.

What You Will Do:
  • Develop and lead supply chain proposal activities
  • Conduct pre award Supplier Assessment (RESA) Reporting, tracking, and managing of an IPT and responsible for the delivery of procured material from suppliers, through external testing, and shipment to destination
  • Works with other functions to ensure cost estimates and EAC are accurate, processes are followed, and staffing is appropriate for execution
  • Conduct material contract closure activity alongside Contracts and Program Office
  • Establishes material priorities across the Integrated Product Team (IPT) and/or program
  • Provides Supply Chain support for Gates 2-11 activities and ensures Integrated Product Development Program (IPDP) compliance for the programs and tailoring when applicable
  • Act as the Control Account Manager (CAM) or support the assigned CAM
  • Prepare and develop material pricing strategy, supplier flow down strategy, and preliminary program strategy for the proposal and communication
  • Work with contracts and Supply Chain Advisor to create Material Contract Brief (MCB)
  • Establish Risk and Opportunities and Mitigation plans
  • Must be willing and able to travel 10% of the time
Qualifications You Must Have:
  • Typically requires a University Degree and minimum 10 years prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 7 years of experience
  • U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are authorized to access information under this program/contract
  • Must have or be capable of obtaining a US Department of Defense (DoD) security clearance.
  • Candidate selected will be subject to a government security investigation/reinstatement and must meet eligibility requirements
  • Experience with supply chain managment, procurement, production control, receiving, cost estimating, logistics, and finance
  • Developing & executing Risk/Opportunity plans to meet program objectives
  • Prior experience leading in an Integrated Product Team (IPT) environment
  • Experience with SAP
We Prefer:
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business Management, Engineering Management, Industrial Management, Supply Chain Management, Engineering-General or Industrial, Operations or other related field
  • Master's Degree (MA, MS, MBA) or equivalent
  • Experience developing & executing the make/buy/where process
  • Experience in Earned Value Management
  • Experience working development or transition to production programs
  • Experience with developing and analyzing performance metrics as well as experience proactively addressing associated program and functional issues
  • Knowledge of US Government acquisition laws and regulations
  • Certified Material Program Manager, Program management certification or equivalent
  • Demonstrated project management experience

The salary range for this role is 132,400 USD - 251,600 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.
