The Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced leader in Manufacturing Cybersecurity to support Abbott’s critical operations. The role reports to the Senior Director of Manufacturing Cybersecurity and involves overseeing cybersecurity strategies for Operational Technology (OT) infrastructure. The candidate will collaborate across global manufacturing sites to enhance security measures while supporting digital transformation initiatives.

Responsibilities include:

• Strategic planning and governance of cybersecurity measures for OT infrastructure.
• Designing and implementing secure controls and solutions for OT systems.
• Leveraging security technologies to protect systems and information.
• Managing a risk-based cybersecurity program aligned with industry standards and regulations.
• Advancing threat and vulnerability management programs across all sites.
• Collaborating with various teams and external vendors to meet cybersecurity goals.
• Training personnel on cybersecurity controls and standards.
• Leading cybersecurity projects, ensuring timely and budget-conscious implementation.
• Developing policies, standards, and metrics for cybersecurity governance.
• Managing budgets and developing team skills.

Required Skills and Education

• 10+ years in global manufacturing cybersecurity, focusing on OT/ICS security.
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, or related field.
• Strong understanding of cybersecurity principles, risk management, and standards like NIST and IEC62443.
• Excellent communication skills for cross-functional collaboration and stakeholder engagement.
• Experience with vulnerability and threat management tools such as Armis, Splunk, and Sentinel One (3-5+ years).
• Relevant certifications (e.g., CISSP, CISM, GICSP) are highly desirable.
