Our next focus is manufacturing, driven by a large, growing market, government initiatives in re-shoring, and a tech-savvy approach including AI to solve core operational issues. You will split your time between manufacturing clients and other industries as a generalist.

As a Senior Manager on the CFO Services team, you will collaborate with colleagues from tech, private equity, consulting, and investment banking sectors, delivering strategic finance advice, fundraising support, and managing complex financial projects. This role offers opportunities for problem-solving, creative thinking, and business development.

Key Responsibilities

• Implement problem-solving techniques to address clients’ growth and financial management challenges.
• Lead complex financial engagements with junior team members to ensure high-quality outcomes.
• Maintain regular communication with clients, providing recommendations and managing expectations.
• Utilize analytical techniques and financial modeling to develop models, budgets, and forecasts.
• Research industry developments to provide strategic insights and become a trusted advisor.
• Contribute to the firm’s financial services, acting as a trusted advisor on key financial decisions.
• Build and sustain long-term client relationships, driving financial performance based on business insights.
• Assist clients in improving KPIs, including inventory management from raw materials to finished goods.
• Manage business plans and projects with ongoing budgeting, variance analysis, and forecasting.
• Support investor relations and board meetings through KPI analysis and insights.

Additionally, you will:

• Evaluate initiatives, new offerings, and campaigns within Manufacturing CFO Services.
• Conduct analyses to identify growth opportunities and scale the service offering.
• Mentor junior team members, especially in manufacturing finance.

About You

Ideal candidates will demonstrate:

• 6+ years of experience in investment banking or strategic finance within manufacturing or related sectors.
• Expertise in manufacturing accounting and inventory management is essential.
• Experience in technology, healthcare, or startup internal functions is a plus.
• Proven ability to lead complex financial projects with junior team members.
• Advanced Excel modeling skills and end-to-end financial model ownership.
• Strong analytical skills and the ability to prioritize large data sets.
• Exceptional attention to detail and independence in delivering quality work.
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to structure and present insights clearly.
