Talento has partnered with a large organization in Miami on a search for a Sr. Manager of Accounting to work closely with the CFO and Revenue departments to ensure accurate reporting on revenue, costs, liabilities for designated business units. This group will be responsible for multiple consumer programs and the incumbent will model and calculate all financial components related to value, cost, forecasting, and general accounting.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field. Master's preferred
• 7+ years of progressive experience with a mix of public and private accounting
• 2+ years supporting a revenue accounting business unit
• Must have hotel, cruise, or airline experience

Responsibilities

• Manage and lead a team and stakeholders
• Maintain and update the accounting balances for period-end reporting in a revenue accounting department
• Coordinate with several departments to report on revenue across shared areas and point liability to be accrued for each reporting period
• Plan, forecast, and maintain internal models in assigned business unit
• Manage and take ownership for all technical and general accounting in assigned business unit under US GAAP
• Provide financial reporting team with balances and disclosures required for regulatory filings
