Job summary

Ingram Micro Inc. is seeking a seasoned lawyer to join our Irvine headquarters as a Senior Counsel. You will draft and negotiate vendor and customer contracts, provide risk-based counseling across departments, and advise on compliance, real estate, employment, and procurement matters.

The role requires CA bar status or eligibility for in-house exemption, with 3–7 years of significant legal experience, preferably from a top law firm. Excellent judgment and communication are essential.

Qualifications

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited U.S. law school with a strong academic record.
• Licensed in CA or eligible for Registered In-House Counsel exemption.
• Approximately 3-7 years of legal experience.
• Experience at a leading law firm strongly preferred.
• Strong background in drafting, reviewing, and negotiating commercial contracts.
• Excellent judgment, communication skills, and the ability to provide practical business-minded legal advice to multiple departments.
• Experience managing litigation preferred.

The role:

• Drafts, negotiates and interprets vendor agreements, sales and purchase contracts, licensing and other agreements, counselling business leaders on risk, deal structuring and negotiation strategy.
• Advises on compliance with contractual responsibilities and applicable laws/regulations.
• Advises on real estate, employment, and procurement matters.
• Manages litigation, including external counsel.
• Supports human resources, corporate procurement, IT, finance, treasury and risk management activities.
• Works on mergers, acquisitions, divestitures and investments.
• Advises on applicable potential and current legislation and informs clients about relevant laws or changes.
• Assists with Ingram Micro Public Sector business.

The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $158,900.00 - $270,100.00 per year. The ranges above reflect the potential annual base pay across the U.S. for all roles; the applicable base pay range will depend on the candidate’s primary work location, pay grade, and variable compensation plan. Individual base pay within each range depends on various factors, in addition to primary work location, such as complexity and responsibility of role, job duties/requirements, and relevant experience and skills. Base pay ranges are reviewed and typically updated each year. Offers are made within the base pay range applicable at the time of hire. New hires starting base pay generally falls in the bottom half (between the minimum and midpoint) of a pay range. At Ingram Micro certain roles are eligible for additional rewards, including merit increases, annual bonus or sales incentives and long-term incentives. These awards are allocated based on position level and individual performance.
