Job description

Your Opportunity

At Schwab, you’re empowered to make an impact on your career. Here, innovative thought meets creative problem solving, helping us “challenge the status quo” and transform the finance industry together.

We believe in the importance of in-office collaboration and fully intend for the selected candidate for this role to work on site in the specified location(s).

The PATH Program is a multi-year strategic initiative focused on modernizing Schwab’s money movement ecosystem through PRISM, an enterprise platform designed to enable standardized, reusable capabilities across payments, asset transfers, and related services.

The Delivery Manager will build and lead a high-performing team of Product Owners and delivery professionals responsible for translating PATH priorities into well-defined, delivery-ready PRISM outcomes. This leader will strengthen product ownership and delivery practices, align talent and capacity to priority capabilities, and create transparency across dependencies, risks, readiness, and partner commitments.

The ideal candidate combines strong people leadership with product and platform experience, structured delivery discipline, executive communication, and the ability to create clarity in a complex, evolving environment.

What you'll do:

  • Lead, coach, and develop Product Owners, aligning talent and capacity to priority PATH and PRISM outcomes.
  • Establish clear, consistent product ownership and delivery practices that strengthen backlog readiness, prioritization, planning, and accountability.
  • Partner across Product, Technology, Architecture, Operations, Risk, Controls, and channel teams to coordinate dependencies, resolve constraints, and support delivery readiness.
  • Balance near-term business needs with PRISM platform strategy, reuse, and long-term sustainability.
  • Create transparency across progress, capacity, risks, decisions, milestones, and partner commitments.
  • Provide leaders with concise, executive-ready updates, recommendations, and timely escalation of delivery risks.
  • Drive continuous improvement using delivery insights, retrospectives, and team feedback without adding unnecessary governance

  • Platform, product, program, or delivery management experience supporting large, complex, cross‑functional initiatives.
  • Proven ability to translate strategic objectives into actionable delivery plans, operating rhythms, and measurable outcomes.
  • Strong analytical, decision‑making, problem‑solving, and facilitation abilities.
