Job description

The Sr Manager, Inventory role requires a dynamic and strategic individual with expertise in planning, inventory management systems, supply chain strategies, and data-driven decision-making. The ideal candidate will excel at developing an inventory strategy that meets customer needs while being cost-conscious. Equally important is the expertise needed to develop governance that will drive real-time management, continuous improvement, and foster collaboration across teams. This is a remote position with up to 40% travel.

Responsibilities:
  1. Set inventory targets and safety stock levels by SKU and location
  2. Continuously monitor inventory health and track adherence to targets
  3. Analyze inventory trends and identify opportunities to rebalance or optimize
  4. Collaborate closely with supply and demand planners to align on needs
  5. Set inventory policy/strategy, including E&O and stranded stock guidelines
  6. Apply best practices in inventory management to drive continuous improvement
  7. Drive system updates and parameter changes to reflect inventory strategy
  8. Provide regular updates to leadership on inventory risks and performance
Minimum Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field
  • 7+ years in inventory management, planning, strategic sourcing, or materials management
  • Up to 40% travel

  • Strategic thinking with a focus on inventory optimization
  • Strong communication, negotiation, analytical, and problem-solving skills
