The primary purpose of this role is to lead a team of multi-disciplinary infrastructure engineers in Data Center Network Engineering that develop and support on-premises IT Infrastructure systems in our enterprise data centers, which is a 24x7x365 mission-critical organization. This team handles deployment, decommissioning, firmware maintenance, lifecycle management, and automation for the network layer, including server and storage connectivity, switches, routers, and network fabrics. They also research, test, develop, and implement new technologies and services. This role requires collaboration with other IT infrastructure teams, understanding of agile development, Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS)/Infrastructure as Code, and a focus on continuous improvement.
This individual manages people, setting expectations, delegating, managing performance, identifying talent needs, and coaching team members. As a Senior Manager, they will help develop roadmaps, establish strategies, onboard new services, and create training plans.
