Responsibilities include:

  1. Marketplace:
    • Understand industry trends and communicate Mercer's position effectively to clients.
    • Create demand for new products/services.
    • Maintain knowledge of carrier and vendor capabilities and leverage Mercer’s reputation for negotiations.
  2. Clients:
    • Manage complex client engagements, including strategy, financial evaluations, and implementation.
    • Define service scope and utilize Mercer tools for strategy development.
    • Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams to meet client needs.
  3. People:
    • Manage support staff based on engagement size and revenue.
    • Provide mentorship, feedback, and coaching to team members.
  4. Financial & Sales:
    • Ensure profitability of projects.
    • Monitor project success and client satisfaction.
    • Expand revenue through existing and new clients.
    • Lead and participate in new business opportunities.
    • Cross-sell Mercer and Marsh McLennan products.
    • Support administrative and operational tasks.
    • Ensure compliance and maintain licensure.

Minimum requirements:

  • BA/BS or higher in psychology, social work, public health, or related fields.
  • 10+ years of experience in population health solutions.
  • Extensive knowledge of global population health and behavioral health markets.
  • Strong multitasking, independence, and teamwork skills.
  • Proven sales, marketing, and business acumen.
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and project management skills.
  • Management experience in large, complex projects.
  • Proficiency in MS Office tools.
