Job summary

Alcon in Fort Worth, TX, is seeking a Sr. Manager, Logistics & Freight Management to lead transportation, freight forwarding, and distribution strategies. This on-site role requires strong leadership and 7+ years in logistics.

You will manage vendors, drive performance, ensure SOPs and GxP compliance, and mentor teams while promoting engagement.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent years of related experience.
• 7+ years of relevant experience in logistics and freight management.
• 5+ years of demonstrated leadership.
• Fluency in English; on-site role in Fort Worth, TX.

Sr. Manager, Logistics & Freight Management (Management Path)

• Oversee transportation of goods, shipments, and freight forwarding, ensuring customs compliance
• Manage third-party vendors to ensure quality and service
• Support the development of distribution strategies to optimize business performance
• Supervise multiple teams, implementing departmental plans and ensuring team success
• Lead performance management, drive talent development, and make decisions affecting team operations and performance
• Ensure positive employee relations and enhance employee engagement and recognition
• Adhere to Good Practice (GxP) regulations by following Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), maintaining documentation, and ensuring quality control
• Meet individual job requirements and contribute to organizational compliance
• Commit to continuous improvement and regulatory compliance

What You'll Bring to Alcon:

• Bachelor’s Degree or Equivalent years of directly related experience (or high school +15 yrs; Assoc.+11 yrs; M.S.+4 yrs; PhD+3 yrs)
• The ability to fluently read, write, understand and communicate in English
• 7 Years of Relevant Experience
• 5 Years of Demonstrated Leadership
