Job description

The Sr Manager Global Digital Solutions is a leadership position requiring expertise in AI/ML, data engineering, and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP). This role involves overseeing the development and deployment of end-to-end solutions, from architecture design to implementation and operationalization. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in building data pipelines, ingestion systems, and reporting/visualization mechanisms, as well as providing strategic guidance on middleware, microservices, and cloud infrastructure.

Key responsibilities include:

1. Leading teams on projects, ensuring high-quality solutions are delivered on time, managing risks, and maintaining a focus on security and cost optimization.
2. Mentoring team members, establishing best practices, and driving continuous improvement in cloud architecture and AI/ML systems.
3. Evaluating and selecting appropriate AI/ML models for tasks such as intent recognition, entity extraction, and sentiment analysis.
4. Guiding the development of AI-driven applications and providing insights through AI/ML integration.
5. Ensuring compliance with Aptiv's cybersecurity standards.

Requirements include:

1. Bachelor's degree in a quantitative or business field (e.g., Statistics, Mathematics, Engineering, Computer Science).
2. 15+ years of experience in IT Architecture with modern, cloud-based technologies.
3. Cloud Architect certification.
4. Strong experience in architecting services for IoT/streaming data and solution platforms.
5. Experience in building Data Management solutions, including ingestion, data engineering, modeling, reporting, and visualization across various cloud services.
6. Deep expertise in designing modern data architectures, high-availability solutions, SQL and NoSQL databases, and ETL processes.
7. Proficiency in cloud technologies (Azure, AWS, GCP), applications, and trends.
8. Experience with IoT data platforms, container technologies, Kubernetes, BI tools, and deploying AI/ML models in cloud environments.
9. Hands-on experience with Databricks, Snowflake, and enterprise data warehouses.
