Job description

Disney Digital Entertainment is looking for a uniquely talented Senior Manager, Franchise Operations to join us on an ambitious and exciting new project. If you are a talented and versatile Producer with a passion towards creativity, superb leadership skills, and a love of Disney, Pixar, Star Wars, and Marvel properties, you’ll want to check out this amazing opportunity! You will report to the VP, Creative- Product & Development

This is a Full-Time role.

In this role, you will…
  • Establish and lead our franchise creative development process for our vast portfolio of amazing characters and worlds from Disney, Pixar, Marvel, and Lucasfilm.

  • Serve as a key member of our franchise creative team driving our approval strategy and approach to ensure we are meeting our commitments to quality and authenticity.

  • Engage with both creative and production leaders to steer our content across multiple teams and key stakeholders.

  • Utilize all the tools in your toolchest to build the most effective workflows and processes that maximize our productivity and momentum.

  • Champion our brands by inspiring and informing our teams of new releases, attend studio screenings, and familiarize yourself with our brand and franchise guidelines.

  • Oversee our incredible database of assets, references, and collections from across the Walt Disney Company.

During your career, the key requirements you have achieved include…
  • 10 – 15 years of experience specifically in product development/production of Console/Mobile/PC games or other entertainment.

  • 5+ years of experience managing teams.

  • A Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Compensation

The hiring range for this position in Glendale, CA is $137,200 to $183,900 per year. The base pay actually offered will take into account internal equity and also may vary depending on the candidate’s geographic region, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors. A bonus and/or long-term incentive units may be provided as part of the compensation package, in addition to the full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits, dependent on the level and position offered.
