The pay range is $92,000.00 - $166,000.00.

Pay is based on several factors which vary based on position. These include labor markets and, in some instances, may include education, work experience, and certifications. As a Sr Manager FP&A, MFA Planning & Ops, you will:

  • Develop and facilitate the long-range planning processes across the merchandising portfolio while working cross-functionally across finance, merchandising, and capability partner teams.
  • Drive disciplined, repeatable, and efficient routines to identify, prioritize, and assess the financial viability of strategies aimed at elevating Target’s store experience.
  • Proactively identify macroeconomic, industry, and enterprise trends, identifying risks & opportunities, and assessing the implied impacts to the business.
  • Combine analytical and storytelling skills to bring the financial narrative to life for leaders across the organization, driving understanding and influencing action.
  • Influence emerging enterprise initiatives, as needed, providing support in assessing strategic, financial, and operational considerations to drive key business decisions.

About you:

  • Four-year college degree, preferably in finance or a related business area. MBA a plus.
  • 6+ years of finance and/or merchandising experience.
  • Credible thought leader with enthusiasm, initiative, and a passion for results.
  • Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills; ability to tailor messages by audience, negotiate, handle crises, setbacks, and conflicts constructively, and provide essential information to the right people at the right time; relationship-building aptitude.
  • Entrepreneurial spirit with strong analytical, decision-making, project management, planning, and organizational skills.
  • Thrives in ambiguity, fast-paced environments, and is resilient in navigating changing priorities.
This position will operate as a Hybrid/Flex for Your Day work arrangement based on Target’s needs. A Hybrid/Flex for Your Day work arrangement means the team member’s core role will need to be performed both onsite at the Target HQ MN location and virtually, depending upon what your role, team, and tasks require for that day.
