Within Nestlé USA’s Corporate Reporting team, this role leads the monthly, quarterly, and annual reporting submitted to Nestlé SA. The Senior Finance Manager provides leadership across corporate reporting, technical accounting, balance sheet analytics, audit support, and special projects, while driving process improvement and digital enablement across the function.

This role is also responsible for improving the team’s ways of working through simplification, standardization, and digital solutions that strengthen first‑time quality and support timely, accurate reporting.

Primary Responsibilities
  • Lead the end‑to‑end delivery of monthly, quarterly, and annual corporate reporting to Nestlé S.A., ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and insightful analytics that support executive decision‑making.
  • Provide leadership oversight of the close and reporting process, translating financial results into clear narratives on performance drivers, risks, and opportunities.
  • Serve as a strategic partner to tax, legal, treasury, supply chain, and cross‑functional stakeholders to navigate complex accounting matters and implement evolving reporting requirements.
  • Serve as a strategic partner to ensure audit readiness and execution across multiple divisions and functions, fostering strong governance, consistency, and collaboration.
  • Play a key leadership role in M&A activities, including acquisitions, integrations, divestitures, and carve‑outs, driving financial transparency and supporting purchase accounting outcomes.
  • Champion financial stewardship by monitoring key balance sheet and working capital metrics, enabling proactive insights and disciplined decision‑making.
  • Build, lead, and inspire a high‑performing team—developing talent, strengthening capabilities, and creating a strong succession pipeline.
  • Drive a culture of continuous improvement through simplification, standardization, and automation, partnering with finance and digital teams to enhance data quality, efficiency, and controls.
Requirements and Minimum Education Level
  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or a related field; CPA strongly preferred.
  • 8‑10+ years of progressive experience in accounting, financial reporting, audit, or finance leadership roles in a complex corporate environment.
  • Experience in consumer‑packaged goods or a similarly complex, matrixed industry is preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of financial reporting, consolidations, and accounting for complex transactions, with experience in GAAP and/or IFRS.
  • 5‑7+ years of people leadership experience is required.
Knowledge
  • Expertise in corporate reporting, consolidations, and financial reporting systems within a complex organization.
  • Deep knowledge of IFRS and/or US GAAP, including the ability to research complex accounting issues and prepare clear documentation.
  • Strong understanding of internal controls, governance, and the business environment in a consumer products or similarly complex industry.
  • Demonstrated experience improving and automating finance processes using tools such as Excel, Power BI, Alteryx, RPA, and dashboarding solutions.
Skills
